DocAgent

This application is developed by KS-Consulting company and is the addition to the eDocLib system.

The DocAgent application is intended for monitoring and the notification of the user of the eDocLib system about the events which are taking place in his personal folders.

Primary window of the DocAgent application

The DocAgent application allows the user, without logging into the eDocLib system, to trace timely:

receipt of new documents in personal folders of the user; changes in earlier browsed registration cards (emergence of new tasks, reports, etc.).

The application works in the background, icon 7 of Dokagent is displayed in a task bar.

In order that the user had an opportunity to receive notifications on receipt in its personal folders of the eDocLib system of the new or edited documents, the DocAgent application provides 2 versions of the notification:

1. Display a message box in a tray. At receipt of documents in personal folders of the user, displays the pop-up information window "Receipt of New Documents in eDocLib" which contains information on the number of the arrived documents and folders in which they are.

2. Reproduce a sound signal. At receipt of documents in personal folders of the user the sound signal selected by the user is reproduced. 3 sound signals are provided in standard set, however there is a possibility of installation of own sound file in the .wav format.

The application can be configured by the user independently, proceeding from individual tasks and preferences. Application controls allow to select:

The scanned folders in which receipt and change of registration cards should be monitored; Frequency of scanning of folders (a possible interval – from 5 to 1000 minutes); Notification method (a message box output in a tray and/or a sound signal); Design of an application interface (background, color scheme).

The user can also configure a method of display of documents in the scanned folders and sort them. 2 methods of display of documents are provided:

Tiled: the documents which are in the scanned folders are displayed in the form of small information blocks (tiles) containing information on date, number and group of the document and also its short summary. Tabular: the document list is displayed in the form of the table containing information on date, number, group of the document, the summary.

Sorting of documents in a primary window of the application is possible by 3 parameters: "number", "date" and "group of the document".

This application is compatible to all applied configurations developed based on the eDocLib platform including with "eDocLib: Asset Business".
