IT infrastructure of new office of holding

On April 14, 2014 the press service of the Asteros group announced project completion of creation of IT infrastructure of new office of Helicopters of Russia holding.

Project Tasks

Management of holding was located at capital office on Presnensky to a shaft, however dynamic development, need of management of 13 enterprises of holding from the uniform center expansions of the physical areas and development of technology infrastructure demanded.

For placement of the new headquarters selected premises of World Trade Center. On leased squares more than 200 employees of top management and administrative divisions of holding will accommodate. The partner in questions of arrangement of the engineering systems and "turnkey" IT infrastructures - the Asteros group.

Project Progress

As envisioned by a project team the headquarters of the customer should meet the highest requirements not only to the low-current systems, but have powerful network and telecommunication infrastructure. Integration of the local computer network and all IT services of new office with NTsV in Tomilino and office on Presnensky to a shaft became an important task within the project. Individual requirements were imposed to equipment of VIP-offices, conference rooms and meeting rooms. System operation of telephony should support a number of unique scenarios of providing telephone negotiations between VIP-persons, irrespective of quantity participating in conference communication, places of their stay and devices from which the call is performed.

Design and mounting, commissioning, is complete in 3.5 months since the beginning of the project. For compact and imperceptible placement of utilities and cable passages mounted rugged construction of a raised floor. Within creation of an IT stuffing of office in World Trade Center unrolled the powerful network infrastructure including SCS on the basis of the equipment Systimax and Extron, the LAN and the system of corporate telephone communication created on solutions Cisco. Design and installation of low-current networks are implemented taking into account use of multimedia of the systems providing a possibility of creation, storage and reproduction audio-and video content of high definition. The created infrastructure is under constant control by means of a centralized system of monitoring of functioning not only the technical systems, but also operation of separate servers or racks.

• We wanted to have the representative office in Moscow meeting all requirements of central office of holding. In addition to automated systems of life support, the systems of the round-the-clock video access control to the business center building, we needed to create the powerful infrastructure integrated into interoffice IT landscape of holding. So all our industrial complexes, and also both Moscow offices needed to be integrated at the technology level. And it was not such simple task, systems, the equipment and the software used on platforms of Helicopters of Russia absolutely different, and a part of our production facilities uses unique software of own development. Nevertheless, the command of Asteros coped with assigned tasks, trained our personnel and handed over a ready object in required terms".

Scientific complex – the building of the helicopter engineering center

Project Objective

Creation of complex IT infrastructure of a new scientific complex – the building of the helicopter engineering center – for ensuring effective, smooth operation of staff of the leading Russian developers of helicopters.

Project Progress

The Asteros group created "from scratch" IT infrastructure of the National center of helicopter engineering in the settlement of Tomilino situated near Moscow. For 1.5 years the project team of Asteros implemented in a new complex of 43,300 sq.m. about 20 systems among which:

• television system and radiofikation;
• automatic equipment and scheduling of the engineering systems;
• engineering infrastructure of three data processing centers;
• the uninterrupted and guaranteed power supply;
• video conferencing, congress systems, conference room and meeting rooms;
• corporate data network;
• corporate IP telephony;
• the center of visual modeling in design office;
• information security systems.

Project Results

Hi-tech infrastructure of new scientific center which ensures daily functioning of 2,500 employees of JSC Mil Moscow Helicopter Plant and JSC Kamov entering into Helicopters of Russia holding is created. It allows the joint helicopter design offices of the country to work at essentially new digital level of hardware.

Creation of a modern scientific and technical complex promotes achievement of this purpose and allows to increase competitiveness of the Russian helicopter industry. The infrastructure created by specialists of Asteros will help to consolidate resources of the leading design offices on the uniform platform and to centralize management of difficult development process, productions, deliveries and maintenance of operation of helicopters"
