The RusHydro group — one of the largest Russian power holdings. RusHydro is the leader in power generation based on renewable sources developing generation on the basis of energy of water flows, sea inflows, wind and geothermal power. Installed capacity of the power plants which are a part of RusHydro is 37.5 GW, including electric powers of JSC RAO Energy Systems of East and also the newest and modern hydroelectric power station of Russia — Boguchansky hydroelectric power station.
Choosing a Solution
The management of RusHydro made the decision on construction of the new modern office in the center of Moscow (Malaya Dmitrovka St., 7) intended for central office of holding. As the general contractor on design and implementation of IT infrastructure of the new headquarters the Asteros group was selected. Creation of the reliable integrated IT platform which, on the one hand, will support effective work of staff of office became the priority task set for a project team and centralizes management of branches, and with another – will provide the continuity of business processes on the scale of holding.
Project Progress
On the area more than 10 thousand sq.m specialists of Asteros unrolled ten subsystems of an infrastructure complex among which SCS, a local computer network, a server framework, the IP telephony and also the multimedia systems of meeting rooms, including the system of a video conferencing. During the project the main rate became on the solutions considerably simplifying administration of components of a system, providing centralized operation with IT services according to uniform security policy and allowing to reduce the aggregate value of service of IT infrastructure.
As Basic Element for functioning of computing and telecommunication systems of office the intellectual structured cabling system based on the solution Panduit Panveiw which contains 2000 ports was selected and covers 6 floors of the building. All key components of subsystems of an infrastructure complex are controlled by the system of pro-active intellectual monitoring. It provides control over IT infrastructure in real time, minimizes operating costs and provides protection against unauthorized or unplanned changes.
The complex of the multimedia systems with the distributed audio-and video content and centralized operation includes the equipment for equipment of 12 meeting rooms, offices of directors of departments and chief specialists. During the project the person attention was paid to equipment by the multimedia system of the hall of a board meeting of RusHydro. A fixed asset of display of the hall is the videowall with a size of screen of 4.910 x 1.850 meters, created from projectors of tubeless MicroTiles LED technology of Chrisite Digital company. The congress a system is constructed based on the equipment Revolabs intended for ensuring work in the mode of a video conferencing and sufficient gain of the speech when scoring the hall. Image output from sources and also setup and control of subsystems in the hall is exercised by means of the controller and the touchpad Crestron with the graphical interface.
The system of a video conferencing which can use practically from any office space is constructed on the equipment of Cisco company and cameras of Sony which are mounted in the hall for demonstration of participants of meetings, both on a display system, and for broadcasting in VKS. Specialists of Asteros organize the system of automatic guidance of cameras on the active microphone of the participant.
