On September 2, 2014, Moscow. The Cognitive Technologies company implemented an intelligent system of processing of medical documents in the center of molecular diagnosis of infectious diseases (cylindrical magnetic domain) of federal state unitary enterprise Scientific Research Institute Epidemiologii of Rospotrebnadzor.
Choosing a Solution
Developers applied a method of narrowing of search span to the solution of the task facing them. The rational solution architecture allowed to sustain high requirements of technical specifications for high-speed performance of a system.
Project Progress
The project in Central Research Institute Epidemiologii is implemented based on the system of mass document handling Cognitive Forms and Cognitive PDF/A technology. The solution was integrated with the accounting system of cylindrical magnetic domain and transfers to it the recognized data and the received images.
Result
System implementation allowed:
- More, than by 6 times to lower errors at manual processing of napravitelny forms, and more Than to reduce the average time of processing of the request three times;
- Lift the limit on performance caused by manual entry of information from napravitelny forms in the IC;
- Increase performance and quality of information input from forms;
- Stop or to significantly reduce extensive expansion of states of Registry;
- Optimize workflows in Registry of cylindrical magnetic domain;
- Lower fatigue of personnel in Registry of cylindrical magnetic domain due to use of ergonomic solutions.
According to the President of Cognitive Technologies Olga Uskova implementation of the innovative technologies of artificial intelligence allows our customers to increase significantly efficiency of key organizational processes of the enterprises that as a result, undoubtedly, affects customer service quality".
According to the head of Cognitive Forms laboratory PhD in Technological Sciences of Vladimir Arlazarov, "A key problem which developers could permit became a possibility of processing of 250 different types of documents at the same time in one flow. And the main complexity consisted that all forms were almost identical. As a rule, the normal systems of mass input learned to cope successfully with stream processing of the documents of different type having a large amount of distinctions i.e. documents unlike at each other. In our case differences were only one-two elements, insignificant by the size. It as in a task to find two-three differences on the picture. The person could do earlier similar tasks on complexity only".
