The KG of Borlas implements a modern information system for management of maintenance and repairs of production assets in JSC KEGOC

Choosing a Solution

The solution developed by the staff of Borlas is directed to essentially new distribution of repair work by service of industrial assets of JSC KEGOC. A system allows to optimize costs for maintenance and repair of assets with preserving of the set reliability of power supply of all regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Project Progress

The feature of the implemented technique consists in a possibility of monitoring by the system of the recorded defective conditions of equipment, calculation of "indexes of technical condition" and probable financial effects from its failures, calculation of the optimal diagram, volumes and the budget of repair work, a possibility of control for elimination of defects and accomplishment of repair tasks, work planning on the basis of the set standards. The personnel of KEGOC branches have a possibility of use on a centralized basis of the reference book of data on the operated production assets.

The database of the reference information contains more than half a million records with names of the operated capital and ancillary equipment, buildings, constructions, vehicles, devices, means of communication and so on. Besides information base contains several million units of storage of the additional information about passport data, results of fault detection and diagnostics, special data for the organization of work planning and accomplishment of specialized calculations. 10 branches of the company and executive directorate took part in preparation of the normative and help database within two years.

Basic functions of the company of the information management system implemented in all branches repairs and maintenance is computer-aided planning, determination of the current and perspective demand in acquisition of materials, spare parts, signing of the contracts with contract organizations on execution of works, control of terms and quality of their accomplishment, condition monitoring of the equipment and the analysis of repair activity.

Consultants of the Borlas group, staff of regional company "Borlas Kazakhstan" and JSC Energoinform - subsidiary company JSC KEGOC participated in the project.
