EMC implemented IT strategy in racing company Ducati Corse

Ducati uses horizontally scalable NAS platform of storage EMC Isilon which will allow to consolidate information from sensors and also to analyze the major functional characteristics, including data on dynamic processes in the engine, archive information on training runs and telemetered informations on a status of motorcycles. The powerful, effective and simple platform of data storage of EMC will become a core of racing strategy of Ducati based on use of data. It allowed a command to make valuable discoveries, prompting how to reduce milliseconds, necessary for a victory, on the route.

Team members of Ducati got an information access and could exchange data which are stored on the Isilon platform, thanks to the solution EMC Syncplicity — the corporate tool for mobile joint work and data exchange online. Syncplicity provides secure access to the files which are stored on different devices, including mobile systems, in full accordance with requirements of IT infrastructure of Ducati. Thanks to Syncplicity team members of Ducati will be able to get instant access to necessary information that will allow to make work more effective and productive and also to establish cooperation in a command.
