TTK of the Web VIDEOCONFERENCING

2018: Treaty extension from a TTK on use of the VideoMost server

On October 1, 2018 SPIRIT announced treaty extension with the telecom operator Transtelecom (TTK) on use servers VideoMost for providing service SaaS video conferences to corporate users of a TTK.

Between SPIRIT and TTK the agreement for 3 years is signed. A TTK is going to provide a cloud service of video conferences to large-scale corporate users, and not just clients from a segment of SMB.

The domestic program VideoMost server (the product is in state register of software Ministries of Digital Development) successfully solves a problem import substitution and additions of foreign hardware VIDEOCONFERENCING solutions from Cisco Polycom Avaya Huawei , etc. and also Microsoft Skype. VideoMost supports a set of the international standards communications and popular open protocols that allows to share VideoMost, in one organization, in one conference, with VKS the products of foreign producers which were already purchased the Russian by the organizations earlier including Microsoft Skype.

All users of TransTeleCom service based on the VideoMost server have an opportunity not only to hold video conferencing sessions, but also to use tools for joint work, joint viewing documents, votes, messenger and other options using which communication in the working groups becomes more effective. Connection of service does not require installation of the special equipment and deployment own infrastructures. It is possible to organize a session of VKS through browser or application for iOS/Android smartphones.

Cooperation with SPIRIT company and use of VideoMost service promotes expansion of a service line of Transtelecom for business. Besides, start of Transtelecom PaaS-service is planned. Clients of PaaS-service will have an opportunity to own the servers placed in DPC of a TTK on which the program VideoMost server will be preset. At the same time to be responsible for service of servers and for software there will be a supplier of service, TransTeleCom operator, and the customer can save not only on acquisition of the equipment, but also on services of IT specialists. Use of PaaS-service is an opportunity for the customer to integrate the VIDEOCONFERENCING equipment which was earlier purchased by it and telephony together with cloud VKS service into single communications system. Access to PaaS of VKS can be provided, both from the Internet, and from a corporate data network of the client.

2014: Signing of the contract with a TTK on the SaaS-продаж VideoMost organization

On September 9, 2014 the SPIRIT company announced signing of the contract with Transtelecom company (TTK), one of the largest telecom operators in Russia, on the SaaS organization of sales of the software product for multipoint web video conferences of VideoMost.

The TransTeleCom company is included into the five of the leading Russian telecom operators. The major shareholder of TransTeleCom – JSC "Russian Railways". TransTeleCom operates and services one of the fiber lines of communication more than 76,000 km long, largest in Russia. The transcontinental trunk TTK EurasiaHighway has connections with communication networks practically of all neighboring countries, including China, Japan, Mongolia, the DPRK, Finland, the Baltic States and the CIS and is an optimal route between Europe and Asia.

The VideoMost software product will be used for providing service of web video conferences from a cloud to clients of TransTeleCom Company through the whole country.

"The service of web video conferences of a TTK is expected, first of all, corporate clients. The Web-VKS service is entered to a service package of a TTK together with broadband Internet access and can be used by corporate clients of a TTK for the organization of communication between territorially remote divisions", – Oleg Leonov, the head of sales and service of a TTK commented.

TTK positions itself as the fifth in value telecom operator in Russia. The company operates and services one of the fiber lines more than 76 thousand km long, largest in the country. The transcontinental trunk TTK has connections with networks practically of all the countries, neighboring to Russia, including China, Japan, Mongolia, the DPRK, Finland, the Baltic States and the CIS.

In spite of the fact that a major shareholder of a TTK is the Russian Railway state company, the competitive procedure for signing of the contract was not required. It is about especially commercial project: Spirit provided to a TTK the solution on the terms of separation of sales returns of service. Parts of the transaction are not disclosed, but, according to Sviridenko, the agreement is signed "for long term".

As agents of the parties in communication with CNews told, the agreement was preceded long (more than two years) by testing of a TTK of different solutions VIDEOCONFERENCING. A TTK evaded the question who acted as the competitor of Spirit, having reported that a choice for benefit of the product VideoMost was made on the basis of functionality of the solution in the ratio with its final cost for the subscriber and a basic possibility of separation of sales returns.
