MegaFon integrated VPN network of management on transport of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on the South and the Caucasus

The MegaFon company won in September, 2014 a victory in the tender of Management on transport of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation across the North Caucasian Federal District, having received the multimillion contract for the organization of channels of VPN access for 26 divisions of department.

MegaFon implemented the large project on creation of a convergent departmental data network with high degree of protection for Management on transport of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in North Caucasus federal district. Specialists of the company provided inclusion of 26 points of VPN access in seven regions of the South of Russia and the North Caucasus that allowed to integrate all divisions of regional law-enforcement department in a single network, including its departments on strategic objects – the airports, railway and bus stations in the largest cities. VPN access will allow police officers to use data services at a speed up to 160 Mbps with a guarantee of high information security and confidentiality of document flow between divisions.

At the same time under the terms of the new contract MegaFon provided Management on transport of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in North Caucasus federal district with services fixed and the IP telephony and also mobile communication.
