The project of a uniform integration layer of bank services VTB 24 on Oracle SOA Suite

The Neoflex company brought in the summer of 2014 into commercial operation one of the largest integration solutions in the domestic market based on Oracle SOA Suite including more than 600 integration components and integrating more than 20 systems of bank in a common information space.

The Neoflex company acted as the general partner on the project of development and deployment of a uniform integration layer within the program of projects for development of IT infrastructure adopted in VTB 24 which is expected several years and assumes complete replacement of the retail platform.

The Universal Layer of Bank Services (ULBS) is the integration solution which takes the central place in an IT landscape and provides all main business operations of VTB 24: it is used at service of all clients on any communication channels.

Within the project the customer needed to separate technically sales channels from the product systems of bank, to provide use of the centralized base of client information and to support the principle of "single window" at customer service. The main business challenge which is solved by implementation of USBS — ensuring completeness of the product offer in all sales channels. USBS covers requirements of retail business on remote service (call center and Internet banking), customer service at offices and also settlement cash and credit deposit to services for individuals, maintaining card accounts, holding marketing campaigns.

USBS services represent the uniform logical layer separating frontal applications and the back office systems of bank. Due to krosskanalny, intermodular implementation of technology processes, their isolation from the interface of the end consumer is provided: the user performs operations on client service, without thinking of their technical implementation and of in what system he works at present.

Creation of USBS — one of the biggest integration projects in the industry – the solution unique in terms of the scope of on volume of the processed information, on quantity of the implemented components working in the industrial mode.

Implementation of USBS allows is unified to service more than 15 million clients of VTB 24 across all territory of Russia, from Kaliningrad to Vladivostok, in all time zones through any communication channels, integrating more than 20 IT-systems of bank in logically common information space.

Start of USBS gives to VTB 24 the chance quickly and effectively to develop an IT landscape according to the increasing business needs. USBS can support at the same time interaction of the old and again implemented systems and if necessary to provide flexible management with the used functionality.

USBS is developed based on a product line of Oracle SOA Suite. The industrial Oracle ESB and Oracle BPM platforms provide to the solution compliance to requirements for high performance and reliability.
