WillMore implemented the QlikView project in Toshiba CIS company

In each country of the presence the management of head office Toshiba makes the decision on a product portfolio in the certain country depending on national economic and culture patterns. Moreover, the solution on a product can be reviewed based on reporting period. The Russian division of Toshiba CIS selected the BI solution of QlikView for operational and flexible management by data on all activities. Main objectives of the project became:

• Profitability analysis of sales in different analytical cuts (groups of goods, the client, etc.) taking into account all additional expenses connected with implementation of sales;
• Comparison of indicators in different cuts that will allow to manage flexibly a product portfolio and quickly to make the decision on what models are unprofitable and should be displaid from the market.

One of advantages of QlikView is the ability to integrate with Microsoft Dynamics NAV thanks to what visualization of reporting indicators of Microsoft Dynamics NAV in a BI system is possible. Now the pilot project is started thanks to what the company management already felt results from its use:

• Report generation time on profitability of each product was reduced to several minutes instead of several days;
• Change of a report structure: transition from static structure where all parameters are preset without a possibility of operational adjustments, to the working tool allowing to obtain quickly necessary data in different cuts.
