The EDS on the SIM card - the solution for use of the mobile phone as the security token.
On September 15, 2014 the Aladdin R.D. company provided the new product "The EDS on the SIM Card".
One of difficulties during creation of information security policies of mobile infrastructure of the company - inconvenience of use of corporate electronic keys and smart cards for mobile devices as connectors of smartphones are not unified, different types of tokens and adapters are necessary for connection to them.
Solution - use of The EDS on the SIM Card technology by means of which the mobile device can be used as the security token, allowing to create the personal EDS, to visualize the signed documents and it is safe to enter the PIN code.
The uniqueness of the solution is that The EDS on the SIM Card technology can work as using online channels (the SMS from the telecom operator), and using offline technologies (NFC) - even in the absence of mobile communication the user of the mobile phone using this technology can sign the electronic document or become authorized in a system.
It is supposed that the technology will significantly expand not only the list of the Russian companies supporting the concept of BYOD, but the list of the electronic services and services intended for individuals.
