Develonica implemented EDMS in MAGE

The specifics of activity of MAGE mean the large volume of paper work, regular preparation of numerous documents and difficult multistage cycles of their approval. In the field of document flow more than a half of employees is involved. However at a stage of active development and expansion of scales of activity of the company in the field of management of documents there was a need of improvement of the existing system of approval for the purpose of increase in efficiency.

Choosing a Solution

The company management made the decision on system implementation of electronic document management. As the partner the Develonica company which specialists have wide experience of implementation of information systems of different level of complexity was selected. The software of Directum became a technology basis of the solution.

Result

The implemented system is intended for maintenance of complete lifecycle of the management of documents including registration and pronouncement of resolutions on incoming correspondence, fixing of instructions and control of their execution, storage and archiving of information, quick search of files in the set details and the text of the document.

"Using this solution in MAGE it was succeeded to organize process of registration and maintaining cards of documents, to maintain version control and to regulate an information access. All these measures will promote further minimization of labor costs. According to internal regulations, access to a product is open for all staff of the organization. At the same time in a system about 20 users will be able to work" — Alexander Rubanov, the CEO of Develonica summed up the project results.
