ABBYY implements Business Process Management Suite

On September 22, 2014 it became known of a new stage of development of an internal information system in ABBYY company, on the Microsoft SharePoint platform.

Project Tasks

The ABBYY company purchased the DocTrix platform. The product will help to expand standard opportunities of SharePoint for configuring of lists, an organization structure, search, access rights. This technology stack will help the customer to automate the processes independently, without involvement of developers.

Oleg Lekuchev, the head of group of automation of business, noted: "The tasks solved by us on the SharePoint platform are very diverse and are often unique. Practically there are no ready-made solutions which so precisely would implement functionality necessary for us. At the same time we have staff of the high-class specialists understanding business processes of the company and capable to solve assigned tasks with the minimum budget and the best quality".

"We use the SharePoint platform long ago, on its base the corporate portal, storage systems and content managements is built and also many business processes are automated, – Natalya Lvova, the development director of information systems explains. – However we were faced by a problem of development of a system, expansion of standard opportunities of SharePoint for more effective organization of information exchange. We looked for the solution allowing to add as much as possible functionality of the platform and giving the chance for more flexible, individual preference of processes. Besides, to us it was important that we could be engaged in setup of a system, without involvement of external specialists and programming. We selected the solution DocTrix+Nintex as the most suitable under our requirements and we hope that we will manage to implement fruitfully all conceived improvements".

Project Results

For September 22, 2014 the DocTrix Platform system is unrolled in the customer's IT infrastructure. Configuring of the platform, integration with a HR system regarding an organization structure is conducted.
