Project on creation of an electronic information resource of VNIIHT

ELAR corporation completed the project on creation of an electronic information resource of the Leading research institute of chemical technology.

The Leading Research Institute of Chemical Technology (LRICT) entering into Rosatom state corporation performs a full stroke of research and development which purpose is creation of profitable highly effective and ecologically safe technologies of receiving and production of uranium, nuclear and pure and rare metals. Besides, at institute scientific developments in the field of medicine, microelectronics, mechanical engineering, an aviation and industrial complex, chemical industry, water purification and water treatment are conducted.

For the purpose of ensuring safety of a report archive about research works and also increases in efficiency of accomplishment of requests of scientific specialists for this documentation of VNIIHT the decision on creation of an electronic information resource was made. Works on the translation of documents in an electronic form, to creation of electronic explanatory notes and loading of information in the system of electronic archive of institute are executed by ELAR corporation. Within the project on the specialized equipment of the ELAR production centers 50,000 pages of reports on research works are digitized.

The translation of documentation in an electronic form will allow the staff of institute to get quickly an information access on research works, besides, several specialists will be able to address the same document at the same time now. The electronic information resource will ensure safety of information in any conditions: during the moving, the fire, accidental operation of the fire warning, etc.
