AutoLog ControlMan is the solution for problems of remote control and management.

AutoLog ControlMan is the hardware and software system consisting of programmable control devices of the GSM standard and server application with access on the Internet. Programmable control devices (AutoLog GSM-RTUs) are installed in the corresponding remote points and perform measuring and control functions. These devices are connected with the central server application using network of mobile communication of GSM. Access to the ControlMan application is provided on the Internet using the normal browser.

AutoLog ControlMan is integrated into other information systems and databases. The public interface and the modern mainstream technologies guarantee long-run and economic job of all system.

AutoLog ControlMan uses the operating global communications systems. Collected information is transferred by means of GSM networks, and the Internet. The user gets access to the application directly through the Internet, at the same time there are no nikakay costs for creation of own networks, GSM network - uses the Internet for communication between the local operator and the ControlMan server.

The solution is used by "command center" on the Internet for remote control and management. The central server is supported round the clock (24 h / 7 days in a week/365 days in a year) Verio Internet company (*) which received an award in 2008 as the most reliable hosting provider.

The AutoLog ControlMan system provides the graphic user interface (Graphical User Interface) including dynamic cards, charts of results of measurements, notifications about alarm signals, the animated types of production processes, reports, etc.

Data of measurements are stored in the database. This information can be processed and analyzed using column charts or diagrams.

In a window of alarm signals it is possible to see a status of active accidents. Existence of these signals can be recognized (is postponed) by the operator for reduction of excessive information on the display. On illustrations the window of week monitoring of a system with a possibility of filtering on days of the week and time is shown.

Installation information of ControlMan, setup of control devices, accounts of users, the user groups, the written history of measurements and other data are stored in the SQL database on the ControlMan server. Connection with the ControlMan database is implemented using the standard ODBC interfaces and SQL queries.

The control devices AutoLog GSM connect to access point of local GSM of the operator through a wireless network of the GSM standard.

The most part from transmitted data represents the history of measurements which is transferred using technology of packet data transmission of GPRS. Can be also used by GSM/SMS soobshcheniya for transfer of alarm signals, management signals, requests, etc. Sms allow to perform direct link between control devices or between the control device and the GSM phone. Service staff can send direct control instructions or installations of parameters to the control device from the GSM mobile phone using Sms. The control device AutoLog GSM allows to exercise control using phone calls. It is capable to define number of an incoming call and to make the preset actions.

A system uses global communication systems, works with use of the hosting companies and can be, thus, beyond all bounds expanded.

Control devices can be reprogrammed remotely, using GSM network. Service of the server application of ControlMan and its components can be carried out remotely on the Internet.

Safety is ensured by restrictions:

• A system works only from certain phone numbers.
• User identification using the password when reprogramming control devices.
• Hidden phone numbers.
• User identification using the password at access on the Internet
• An opportunity to use virtual private networks (Virtual Private Network (VPN)) if the operator of GSM supports them, however in most cases in it is not present need.

Architecture of AutoLog ControlMan

The standard packet for remote control consists of programmable controllers (PLCs), sensors and sensors, the communication system, modems, programs-applications and reports. Abnormal messages and events can be redirected on mobile phones and e-mail of responsible personnel.
