KODOS RD-3101 - the card reader of the HID, EM-Marin and Mifare standards.

On September 23, 2014 the KODOS company provided the first readers of new generation - "KODOS RD-3101" and "KODOS RD-3201".

Readers KODOS RD-3101

Readers are intended for contactless reading and transfer of codes of cards to the controller of a control and management system for access. Devices support two protocols of contact with the controller. In own KODOS systems they work under the special protocol, and in the systems of other producers – under the standard Wiegand protocol.

• Readers have wide feature set and the built-in sensors allowing steadily reliably and with guarantee to carry out an assigned task. In the course of work they spend a minimum of the electric power and do not generate harmful electromagnetic radiation.

• Are eco-friendly. Production of readers is non-toxical, and the minimum waste from production is easily processed for reuse.

In devices the sensor of existence of the card in the field of reading is for the first time used. This unique technical solution allowed to disconnect a reading field when in its work there is no need. Electricity consumption was reduced and electromagnetic radiation was minimized. The field joins only in the moment of present of the card for reading the code. The sensor "feels" when the card is brought to the reader and sends a signal on inclusion of a field. There is a reading of the code and after the card is removed, the field is disconnected.

Change of color and brightness of indicators is for the first time implemented. Now it is possible to set, if desired, any indicator color suitable for an interior. At the same time decrease in brightness of indicators not only considerably reduces an electric power expense, but also adapts the reader to work in poorly lit premises.

• The sensor of opening of the body prevents unauthorized access to reader electronics.
• The sensor of a power supply allows to diagnose power supply level below the set level (by default 5 V), signaling white color of indication.
• Broad operating range of a power supply (from 5 to 30 C) allows to use surely the reader in the big list of systems.

Construction of the body of readers is executed of modern materials using advanced technologies. The cover of the body is protected by the strongest covering steady against external influences: to scratches, the increased humidity and temperature. The appearance of the reader does not change after long-term and intensive use.

The manufacturing techniques allow to receive a body cover with any desirable image in the shortest possible time.
