In 2012-2013 the NovaSystemGroup company developed and implemented in construction company PARUS LLC industry solution BASIS.

The industry solution BASIS is developed on the Microsoft Dynamics NAV ERP systems platform (Navision). BASIS is a basis of industry solution the module "Construction management" which is intended for support of planning processes, budgeting and project implementation by means of management of its content, cost and terms. In interrelation with standard system modules of Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) completely covers a managerial circuit of the organization (planning, control, accounting, the analysis of activity and adjustment).

Also electronic document management with parallel approval of documents, the technology of barcoding of all paper documents, integration with the system of accounting were developed and configured.

The development director of construction company PARUS LLC Vladimir Ivanov answered in the interview questions of the reasons of implementation of industry solution and also of results of implementation.

Vladimir Semyonovich, what main objective you solve with the help of a system?

Setting under control of an economic situation. So that I felt that I trust digits, and at the same time each kopek under control. So that to have feeling that all under control. Including planned and actual targets.

In the course of growth the moment when I began to understand that accounting does not cope taking into account, with control came. There was a choice: or to take people who are mistaken and not all work well, or to order the software product which will allow to keep without people more precisely all account. Also will allow to avoid repeated transactions.

The plan begins with the budget, the fact is payments, acts of KS-2. And all this chain of documents in Navision is strictly connected. It is impossible to exceed the budget for estimates and not to notice it. It is impossible to exceed the estimate on payments and not to notice it. It is impossible to exceed on the signed volume in acts that too is fraught. Because if you signed more, then then extra works expose to you. And now I see at once that there is exceeding. Could palm off here so earlier and could slip somewhere somehow imperceptibly. Happened that in a hurry paid for something two times. For same.

What minor tasks do you solve?

Document flow. At office with pieces of paper began to run less. Now I should look at some piece of paper - I come, I open, I look through Navision. Same agreement, for example. And earlier with pieces of paper ran. Paper document flow was reduced.

Delegation of power from company management to other persons that bears in itself very deep essence. Without a system it would be much more difficult to be made. If not Navision, was necessary to rely me on the fact that people come and something report to me. Here I can see.

When all budgets are planned, approved, and I understand that by the budget there cannot pass the estimate, it simplifies transfer to the employee of powers on document approval, it is very good function. For example, on office all costs painted, transferred the budget, parameters set, a framework imposed, and all - went.

Control of inflating of states. It was not succeeded to cut down the staff yet, but also there is no strong growth too. But here it is important to understand that work on optimization of the number of staff of employees in our company was conducted regularly to system implementation. Our company in this sense it is rather an exception to the rules. I think, in most other organizations after implementation of this system there will be a question of reduction of number, of redistribution of functions of employees in connection with work performance improvement.

Reduction of time of approval of documents. Earlier approval went consistently, the document was transferred from the employee to the employee, now approval goes in parallel.

Navision is also an important link in a number of the actions directed to suppression of unfair actions of employees, elimination of a corruption component.

Whether planning in the company changed somehow?

Planning, budgeting especially did not change, but I should tell that for other companies even our planning which was in Excel would be serious plus. The table in Excel was quite strong. Now in a system there is the same, plus I see all sheaves in special representation: here it is the budget, here it is the obligation, here it is the supplementary agreement on the estimate - it is really convenient.

Whether work of accounting, lawyers changed somehow?

First of all it became easier for them to interact with each other. They should not run with pieces of paper now. Visualization increased. "Svetoforchik" which show a document status are very conveniently made. Search of the document in a system on a barcode - serious reduction of time. "Peak" - and opens at once the document. In a year, I think, it will save a lot of time, and it is necessary to understand that to each person.

Do you feel advantage over other companies now?

I have an internal feeling that we more advanced company. We are ready to growth of number of projects in a year. Using this system it will be much easier to process the bigger number of projects, than is now.
