The Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation is the federal executive authority performing functions on development of state policy and legal regulation in the field of education, scientific, scientific and technical and innovation activity, nanotechnologies, intellectual property and also in the field of education, social support and social protection of students and pupils of educational institutions.

PROBLEM

The top management of the ministry under which authority a large number of educational institutions through the whole country is had no opportunity to update in real time their works given about performance indicators and to monitor achievement of target indicators in regions. The IT systems which are available in the ministry could not provide to the top management regular access to up-to-date industry data and formation of an integral picture about the status of the performed tasks.

Solution

Based on the iDecide platform the product allowing the head to perform monitoring of up-to-date data on target indicators up to the level of the region or specific educational institution was developed. And also to appoint instructions on work with these indicators to any contractor both in the ministry, and on places in regions and to personally keep track of the status of its accomplishment.

On each of tasks, priority for the head, he can instantly obtain necessary information on the status of accomplishment of a task, responsible persons and terms of implementation. And also to estimate using interactive maps and analytics as a situation countrywide, and in each region and educational institution.

FEATURES OF PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION

Especially for working tasks of the management of the ministry the card with a possibility of visualization of different key indicators was created. Using the tablet heads can compare indicators of similar type on different regions and analyze them in different cuts. System operations are the cornerstone three big groups of indicators - shared state of an education system, scientific activity of the Russian universities and Education 2013.
