Open IoT Stack for Java is a software development platform for consumer and corporate environments of Internet of Things.

On September 29, 2014 the Eclipse Foundation company announced an exit of Open IoT Stack for Java.

Open IoT Stack for Java supports group of standards of communication between devices and offers ready libraries for creation of the gateways IoT, the systems of house automation and the industrial SCADA systems.

As a part of the platform:

  • Paho - Java client implementing the protocol of the intercomputer communication of MQTT;
  • Moquette is a message broker of MQTT;
  • CoAP - not the resource-intensive IETF protocol for information transfer on the Internet;
  • Leshan - Java implementation Lightweight M2M, the facilitated control interface between clients and the IoT servers offered by the Open Mobile Alliance organization.
