Choosing a Solution
At the AXOR plant the full stroke of production of accessories is provided: casting, stamping, coating application, assembly of end products and control of their quality. The company management was going to carry out detailed cost analysis at each production phase and to reveal reserves of decrease in production costs. Also it was necessary to raise the service level of clients: to create commercial offers to customers quicker, more quickly to inform them on implementation phase of orders, to exclude errors when calculating charge of bonuses for purchasing amounts. Not less important for the company was a possibility of calculation of transportation costs by orders of buyers. This mechanism would allow to calculate more precisely an expensive part for each order and to optimize the product delivery of the plant. The most suitable for the solution of these tasks the company management recognized a system "1C:Enterprise 8. Management of manufacturing enterprise for Ukraine". As the partner in implementation the White Wind company having successful experience of development and deployment of automated control systems for manufacturing enterprises was invited.
Result
The company management had an opportunity quickly and with a high accuracy to calculate cost value of both batch production, and individual orders, to analyze costs at each production phase and to reveal possibilities of reduction of these costs without prejudice to product quality. It allowed in three months since the beginning of operation of a system to reduce production costs by 7%.
Considerably the procedure of order placement became simpler. The algorithm of calculation of its cost which is built in a system on the basis of parameters of future product allowed managers to accelerate formation of commercial offers. Now cost value and the price of the order and also charge of bonuses to customers for quantity of products which were purchased by them are calculated automatically. Managers had an opportunity to plan and control the course of accomplishment of each order and to quickly inform on it clients. A customer loyalty and partners increased. As a result the number of the agreements signed on an advance-payment basis increased by 10%.
The mechanism of distribution of transportation costs developed according to the scheme accepted at the enterprise allowed to consider expenses on the product delivery to customers. As a result transportation costs were reduced by 5%.
