Lantech provided in the fall of 2014 the industrial IPES-3208C switch which is equipped with 8 ports 10/100BaseTX with PoE-injectors and is intended for reception-transmission of primary information from IP devices of a video surveillance system and their power supply with giving to 30 W on the port. The new switch with PoE has capacity of 5.6 Gbps, 2 2-speed SFP interfaces for the organization of data transmission for optical fiber, supports layer functions of L2+ and control modes by a PoE-power supply with tracking of operation of attached devices and drawing up the schedule. Besides, IPES-3208C use management of SNMP, technology QoS, IGMP Snooping, DIDO and also VLAN, SSH/SSL, ACL and DDM.
Easy-to-customize and work, the new Lantech switches have the friendly user interface, support automatic display of network topology, control loading of the processor and a system status. In addition to it, the managed switch with PoE allows to trace via the DMI interface such parameters as optical power output, input power, temperature, tension on the transceiver and a displacement current, bringing them to the diagnostic digital DDM monitor (Digital diagnostic monitor). In this case presents indications of input and power output of IPES-3208C/PoE in decibels, simplifying calculations of required length of optical fiber.
Thanks to compliance to the IEEE802.3af/at standards, the IPES-3208C switches can supply on PoE technology on the IP devices connected to them through 8 copper ports 10/100TX. At the same time on each port will move up to 30 W for a power supply of such equipment as high-speed rotary IP cameras, street models with the heating system, etc. In addition to it, the industrial switch with PoE supports expanded control functions by the system of an Ethernet-power supply, including planning for electric power distribution according to the schedule and PoE-detection for a power supply only of "active" IP devices.
New switches allow to create networks with topology "ring", "dual ring", "chain", etc., and their compliance to ITU G.8032 standard provides recovery of network after failure during 20 ms if the number of devices in network with a ring topology does not exceed 256. At the same time each switch from 8 PoE supports by ports export of the configuration to the separate file with a possibility of its editing at the expense of what it is possible to simplify considerably installation of network with several PoE-compatible devices of the Lantech brand.
Using the DIDO function (2 inputs / 2 an exit) new switches are capable to initiate an alarm and/or without delay to send the text message by e-mail/SMS in case of unauthorized disconnection of the equipment from ports, interruptions in a power supply, physical impact on devices, etc. In addition to it, Ethernet the switch with PoE is equipped with the relay contact allowing to activate the system of the disturbing notification. In addition, IPES-3208C supports recovery of a configuration through USB port and also displays existence of a power supply of PoE and the status of each port using LED indicators.
IPES-3208C is delivered with standby unit of a power supply of 12/24/48 V a post. current, provides protection on a transmission line of 3 kV a post. current and 6 kV post. current through Ethernet. As well as other network equipment of Lantech of industrial function, this network switch with PoE has the metal body with protection against environmental activities according to class IP30 and also is steady against blows (mechanical influences) and vibrations. Along with a basic complete set, street models about PoE marked by the index – E which differ expanded to-40 … +75 °C working temperature range are produced.
