Izhavto upgrades IT infrastructure

On October 6, 2014 it became known of completion of creation of a local computer network by Borlas company for Izhavto.

Project Progress

Within the project of upgrade and development of production capacities of the enterprise in Izhevsk Borlas performed project works and commissioning of the local computer network (LCN), the systems of power supply, conditioning, the fire warning and fire extinguishing.

Project Results

The project IT infrastructure at the Izhevsk automobile plant is upgraded and expanded. Project works, installation and setup actions are performed:

The structured cabling system is constructed on the basis of the equipment of Nexans company and provides capacity to 10 Gbps. The horizontal cable subsystem of SCS is executed on the basis of the copper cable the shielded twisted pair F/FTP of category 6A and screened patch panels with RJ45 ports. The single-mode optical cable with 24 optical fibers and optical patch panels are used for a trunk subsystem of SCS. In the process of construction of SCS 11 km of the optical cable in premises and 9.7 km of the armored cable out of premises are laid, 44 distributed points are equipped, installed the 146th patch panels, 526 ports of a cable system are created.

In workshops of automobile plant the distribution points which are the LAN switching nodes in number of 20 pieces are set. The equipment of each of them is placed in a floor cabinet of Rittal company with autonomous system of conditioning. Other 24 points are developed in the isolated premises located in administrative buildings of the plant, at the same time in 19 of them Borlas performed necessary construction works on adaptation of premises.

In 22 points of distribution the new automatic fire warning is mounted, the lighting system is reconstructed or replaced, the conditioning system based on the equipment of Daikin is created and reconstructed. In two distribution points of a core of a LAN the automatic system of gas fire extinguishing is also constructed. The switching and server hardware is mounted in floor cabinets Izhtekhnoky.

For the guaranteed power supply 2 power supply cables are entered into each distribution point. In the points located in workshops APC AP7723 loading switch is used, in the others power boards of original development with the time cut-out of a reserve on an input are set.
