Smartec STR-3294 video recorder

The range of the video writing equipment of the Smartec brand was filled up in October, 2014 by the digital STR-3294 video recorders with 32 video outputs for analog cameras of different producers. New products use the H.264 codec for video compression, support a write enable to Full D1 and speed to 25 fps on the canal, and allow to increase flexibly disk space of archive up to 72 TB. At the same time, video recorders 32-channel provide sound recording, are equipped with disturbing interfaces and the detector of the movement. STR-3294 have 4xBNC and 2xDVI of a video output for an output of images to monitors, DVD-RW the drive for copying of files and support management of PTZ functions of cameras using the software program panel of Control Center or by means of external telemetric panels.

The multichannel video on the video recorder can be performed in the different modes: continuously (cyclically), according to the diagram or on alarms from the detector and external sensors, saving at the same time up to 5 seconds of predisturbing and 60 seconds of post-disturbing video. It is possible to find the necessary files in STR-3294 archive as the 32-channel video recorder allows to execute search in date and time, a graphic calendar scale or using the magazine of disturbing events. Moreover, via the software interfaces of Control Center which is included in STR-3294 delivery intellectual search, for example, in the movement in certain areas of a frame (SmartSearch function) is available to all 32 cameras.

The STR-3294 video recorder allows to organize a 72-terabyte videoarchive by installation in the body to four SATA hard drives on 2 TB everyone, and connections of external storages Smartec STG-ES which have 4 compartments for removable HDD with the SATA interface and connect kaskadno through gigabit port. Thanks to the fact that video recorder 32 supports up to 8 STG-ES the general capacity of a videoarchive can reach 72 TB. Moreover, the STG-ES disk arrays used with 32-channel devices can work in the mode of a mirror video and duplicate important information on reserve disks.

The security functionality of STR-3294 includes the multizonal detector of the movement with the configured sensitivity level. At the same time, the video recorder allows to connect up to 16 external sensors of alarm, providing to the operator the choice from several versions of the notification on approach of a disturbing event. So, for example, the video recorder with 32 channels can activate a buzzer, a disturbing exit, send the email notification, display a disturbing window over all windows (for Control Center) and also to begin record of video from the disturbing camera with the maximum parameters. Moreover, if the operator notices suspicious activity in a video control zone, then it can independently activate the mode of the emergency record.

The possibility of creation to 4 independent posts of observation based on one STR-3294 is implemented because the video recorder is equipped with four independent BNC video outputs for monitors and allows to distribute evenly loading between several operators. The output to the monitor of the current or archive flows 32-channel performs the video recorder in real time in the full-screen or multiscreen mode, allowing to display in turn on video screen from different cameras (groups of cameras), the sequence and which switching time are set by the operator. Besides, new DVR has two interfaces DVI (VGA) by means of which it is possible to display on the monitor with Full HD resolution up to 32 channels of video.

The video recorder allows to exercise remote control of PTZ functions of surveillance cameras using buttons on its front panel or external Smartec STT-3X panels for which connection there are RS-232/RS-485 interfaces. In addition to connection of the panel of telemetry, the 32-channel video recorder can be connected to other 16-or 32-channel device of the Sigma series through additional ports RS-232 and RS-485 and to organize larger observation system with the centralized monitoring. Besides, STR-3294 is equipped with two USB ports and the built-in DVD-RW for copying from archive of fragments of video.
