Computar lenses M0824-MPW2 and M1224-MPW2

Product
Developers: Computar
Branches: Trade
Technology: Video surveillance systems

The range of 5-megapixel Computar optics was filled up in the fall of 2014 by lenses M0824-MPW2 and M1224-MPW2 with focal distances of 8 and 12 mm, respectively, which are intended for equipment of the IP cameras which are used in the systems of security video surveillance and video control of production processes. The new fixed lenses have high-quality glass lenses, manual iris control and focus and provide transfer of a luminous flux with the minimum values of a distortion. Moreover, both fixed models are supplied with metal fastening to the camera and can be retrofitted by light filters.

5-megapixel lenses M0824/M1224-MPW2, unlike models of standard permission, are compatible to large-format sensors and project on them a luminous flux practically without distortions at the expense of what exact transfer of geometrical parameters of objects is reached. The lens system in new Computar optics is picked up in such a way that distortions which the fixed lenses have at the exit are so insignificant that they can be neglected even at high-precision technology control. In particular, the distortion at 12 mm of the fixed lens on 2/3' the sensor makes no more than-0.05%.

Effective work with cameras of high resolution up to 5 megapixels is possible due to use in construction of Mkhkh24-MPW2 of a system of high-quality glass lenses which provides identical sharpness of the image not only in the center, but also at the edges of a frame. Thanks to such characteristics, these megapixel fixed lenses can be applied, for example, in video surveillance systems on production to identification of defects of products, reading of serial numbers and the solution of other tasks requiring high accuracy.

Two lenses M0824-MPW2 and M1224-MPW2 which have the fixed focal distance of 8 and 12 mm, respectively enter a new series of optics. With respect thereto, and the minimum distance of focusing at these models will be different as the 8-and 12-millimeter fixed lenses create the detailed image at distances from 0.05 m and 0.1 m, respectively. At the same time the viewing angle of lens M0824-MPW2 will have the maximum value 57.80 ° at installation on the camera with a format matrix 2/3 inches and minimum 43.74 ° on 1/2' to a matrix, and viewing angles at M1224-MPW2 vary from 29.5 ° up to 39.8 °. Iris control in these models is performed manually in the range from F2.4 to F16.0.

For reliable fastening to the camera both lenses Computar have a metal thread of S-type. A mechanical part of new models which includes the rings of focusing and iris control fixed by screws allows quickly and with a high accuracy to configure the compact fixed lenses directly on site of installation. For adaptation of the image under illumination conditions indoors on the compact fixed models it is possible to fix special light filters for which the thread of M 30.5x0.5 mm is provided.

New 5 MP the fixed Mkhkh24-MPW2 series lenses Computar already went on sale.
