Experience of optimization of a system of financial management in Dixy

Aiming to lower load of IT, DIXY involves examination of the IT companies to search of optimal technological and management decisions. It allows the retailer to save positions in the market in the segment, to increase operational efficiency and to offer buyers quality goods at the affordable prices.

During cooperation which lasts since 2010 specialists of MAYKOR-GMCS carried out about 800 tasks of development of an information system of DIXY. The largest projects are connected with consolidation of processes of tax accounting in a single system, automation of factoring, accounting of a container, the expense accounting on import, integration with a logistics system of the retailer and also with bonus calculation to suppliers.

The special attention is deserved by the project on implementation in a system of accounting of conditional charges (Accruals) for more exact assessment of a financial result of the company.

2014

The Microsoft Dynamics AX platform is a part of information complex of management of DIXY since 2009. For the purpose of business process optimization of multiformat network the retailer made^[1] about transfer of the block of financial management from the separate systems in Microsoft Dynamics AX, including automation of specialized functions. The command of DIXY together with the invited specialists developed new techniques of accounting. For example, ten additional tax registers on such sections as voluntary medical insurance, a reserve on holidays, etc. were developed.

"In DIXY the team of professionals consisting of specialists of functional departments and IT by which forces the used information management system develops is created. At the same time we actively attract external consultants to implementation of separate tasks and also closely we cooperate directly with Microsoft. Cross-functional interaction is for us the important tool of cost optimization, allows to develop the used systems and services, without increasing at the same time costs for own team of IT specialists", – Sergey Korotkov, the director of the department of information technologies of DIXY Group notes.

The GMCS company was attracted with DIXY to automation in Microsoft Dynamics AX of tax accounting using own practices. The specifics of works were connected with a complex system of accounting and cost accounting of products, a huge flow of document flow (daily through Microsoft Dynamics AX there pass thousands of invoices and other documents).

"Thanks to implementation of tax accounting in a single system, the transparency of formation of tax data increased, time for preparation of tax registers and declarations was reduced and also personnel labor costs on accomplishment of this and accompanying transactions decreased", – Sergey Korotkov adds. "Multiformat retail networks have more difficult business processes that is required to be considered at automation. We continue cooperation with DIXY within further development of the information management system of the retailer and its technical support in specific sites", – Ksenia Chernikova, the business director of the company of GMCS notes.
