FlowMon is the complete solution for monitoring of the networks based on IP flows and is intended for ensuring trouble-free operation of large information systems and prevention of the attacks on information resources of the organization. Being fixed on behavior of devices in network, FlowMon allows to react to earlier unknown threats for which there are no signatures yet.


  • The solution it is based on monitoring of IP networks of any scale (LAN, WLAN, WAN). Advantage:
  • Will quickly detect problems in network that will accelerate time their elimination.
  • Will define any attacks (Scanning, DDoS, Net worms, cracking ….)
  • Analysis throughput capability of network and its optimization.
  • The analysis the Web application (http and https) for determination performance.
  • Determination of different torrent application.
  • Determination quality of video and VoIP of a flow.

2015: Invea-Tech released the beta of FlowMon 7.02

On May 13, 2015 the Invea-Tech company announced release of several betas of products[1].

FlowMon of version 7.02 gives the chance to the user more visually "see" traffic, analyze it in the shortest possible time and compare its peaks to other traffic.

In this version there are not only technology changes, but also a set of the improvements connected with the user interface:

  • user identification gives the chance to see its activity in network and to output reports on the basis of this information.
  • Network Performance Monitoring is expanded measurement of repeated transfers of packets in networks at which there were errors.

FlowMon Traffic Recorder v.4.06 is delivered with support of 40 GB of probes from Invea-Tech company that allows to take packets in high-speed networks.

Audit of architecture of FlowMon ADS of version 7.0 lifted limits for number of at the same time connected users. The upgraded reports, detection of new devices using the MAC addresses, the improved performance and the improved user interface, independent reserve XML copying and recovery - the implemented properties and features of a product.

  • The plug-in of ADS allows the organizations using the behavioural analysis of network in the automatic mode to reveal incidents, the attacks, the reasons of delays and failures and also to receive the broad picture of the events in network and behind its perimeter.
  • Traffic Recorder serves for investigation of incidents and is useful to the staff of Information Security Service.
  • DDoS Defender is the latest plug-in developed in technology cooperation with Radware, it is capable to detect and mitigate effects of volume DoS and DDoS of the attacks. Potential customers estimated obvious benefits and advantages to the companies which they can receive, using the solution FlowMon which will allow to raise degree of information security and it is essential to cut down operating costs, and in general to improve business performance that in modern conditions is the major factor for a full-fledged work of any organization.

2016: FlowMon 8.0

The Flowmon Networks company announced in March, 2016 an exit of FlowMon 8.0. This version of a flagship product is the next step on the way to providing network traffic to customers of absolute visibility. A number of important improvements among which - significant updating of architecture of data storage about flows, deeper visibility in the level of applications brings to FlowMon 8.0, expanded monitoring of L3/L4 levels or on a centralized basis the managed reports from different modules.

Among the main changes, the version of Flowmon 8.0, it should be noted:

  • New architecture of data storage on Flowmon the collector. It allows to process and analyze information on network traffic, even in very big environments with thousands of network devices which send data streams for the analysis.
  • The Flowmon Dashboard dashboard has central office reports from several modules now. Thus, together with widget-AMI you can display necessary own reports and by that at the same time to have the overview of the prompt actions and events connected with operation and security.
  • Considerably expanded visibility of the application layer, additional support of protocols to DHCP and SAMBA. Monitoring of data streams can be enriched with new important information thus.
  • Expanded monitoring of L3/L4.
  • Instead of the listening port in FMC (FlowmonMonitoringCenter) the data stream source (the active device) directly is displayed.
