Ontex implements the system of unified communications

On October 30, 2014 the Ontex company announced use of Orange Business Services technologies for increase in efficiency of joint work of staff of the company in the different countries, including Russia. A technology platform of Business Together on the basis of Microsoft Lync.

Project Progress

The Ontex company selected Orange Business Services as service provider of unified communications (UC) and voice solutions on the basis of Microsoft Lync 2013 for increase in efficiency of joint work more than 1100 users from 25 offices in 10 countries.

After acquisition of division of Artsana Süd SpA, representative office of Artsana in Italy, and relocation of head office in Belgium the Ontex company began upgrade of jobs for 5 thousand employees around the world. Now they had an opportunity to work from the house and on flexible hours. These changes demanded implementation of new solutions for the organization of effective communication of employees: unified communications and voice services.

To fulfill these requirements, the Ontex company selected the solution Business Together deployed in DPC of Orange. The contractor provided to Ontex completely managed solution which will simplify process of transition of the company to unified communications, will help to optimize expenses as payment is made only for the consumed resources. Besides, the Ontex company prolonged the service agreement of WAN network for three years.
