The Borovskaya poultry farm completes audit of program assets

On November 6, 2014 the Comparex company announced completion of complex audit of program assets of Microsoft at the enterprises of the largest poultry-farming complex of Tyumen "Borovskaya Poultry farms.

Project Tasks

For the purpose of an exception of legal risks, breaks and idle times in work and other problems, the management of IT department "Borovskaya Poultry farm made the decision to optimize the software in the company.

In IT infrastructure of the enterprise the standard software package of Microsoft is used. The computer park of the company contains 250 units. The problem of optimization of software became complicated a large number of regional representative offices and the separate system of licensing, both the head company, and affiliated enterprises. Therefore in addition to IT audit it was required to rationalize use of the budget on the software and to optimize the choice of uniform model of licensing at the enterprise.

Project Progress

Solving assigned tasks, attracted a team of specialists of the LSP-Microsoft partner, Comparex company to the project.

Within project implementation managers of Comparex carried out inventory of licenses and the used programs in the company and its representations. On the basis of data of audit analytical work as a result of which to the customer the solution on optimization of programs of licensing and implementation of the processes of xSoftware Asset Management (SAM) suitable the practician of management of program assets on the platform|Software Asset Manager (SAM) is proposed is carried out]].

Project Results

On project deliverables IT specialists of Comparex together with colleagues selected the optimal system of corporate licensing satisfying to specifics of business of the companies of Bohr of poultry farm from customer company and showed advantages of use of the latest cloud solutions in a line of Microsoft Office 365.
