In Tula the project on implementation of the IP telephony is complete

In Tula the project on implementation of the IP telephony in executive authorities and government office of Tula region is complete. Project implementation is enabled by the Ministry of informatization, communication and questions of open management of Tula region and specialists of "The center of information technologies".

Implementation began in 2013. Main objectives of the project – creation of a modern communication channel for fall forward of communication with a possibility of the organization of conference communication.

The IP telephony technology allows to reduce considerably costs for calls and service of telephone lines.

"Due to connection of the IP telephony we managed to reduce quantity of telephone lines by 68% – since 1070 to 339. We disconnected not used or seldom used numbers, having left only necessary, such as fax numbers, receiving administrations of state agencies and some other. Further we are going to implement the IP telephony system for executive authorities in all territory of Tula region", – Artur Kontrabayev, the minister of informatization, communication and questions of open management of Tula region noted.

For the fall 2.14 years are connected to the IP telephony 1620 subscribers. The department of infrastructure of "The center of information technologies" of Tula region is engaged in support of a system.
