Smartec STNR-1641 IP video recorders

The range of the equipment of the Smartec trademark was filled up in the fall of 2014 by the STNR-1641 IP video recorders performing acceptance, record, storage and broadcast of video from 16 IP cameras of different producers. New products are supplied with 8 interfaces for P2P-connection of IP cameras, the 4-port RoE-switch and video outputs for monitors have HDMI/VGA and Spot. Besides, each video recorder 16-channel can record video with the permission to Full HD and update rate up to 30 fps on 3 built-in hard drives which are purchased separately, proceeding from problems of video surveillance, and for expansion of a videoarchive the 16-channel device of a video allows to use external network storages.

STNR-1641 represents the universal solution for creation of a 16-channel video surveillance system based on IP cameras and encoders of the Smartec brand, and thanks to support of the RTSP and ONVIF protocols, it can work with IP devices of different producers and manage their video flows. At the organization of a system of video monitoring on a small object the video recorder 16-channel is connected to the monitor via the HDMI/VGA interface, and for control display of video from the selected cameras the Spot-monitor to which the video recorder is connected through a video output of BNC can be used.

Competitive advantage of 16-channel Smartec devices of the STNR series is full support of the video analytics preset in the Smartec IP cameras of an intellectual line NEYRO. Servicing the NEYRO IP cameras, the network video recorder 16-channel can accept and process the metadata broadcast by them and use them afterwards as video search option in archive. Besides, for drawing attention of the operator of the video system, the video recorder can bring the current video from cameras with active events of video analytics to the monitor in the full-screen mode.

Record of video with Full HD resolution can perform the new 16-channel device from each IP camera connected to it with a speed up to 30 fps on the canal, and on all channels with the general frame rate of 480 fps. It is important to note that the IP video recorder 16-channel allows to play video from archive on all channels with the maximum permission and frame rate at once. At the same time, for decrease in load of the processor during the work with the current video, the new video recorder is capable to accept and process to two flows from each camera and to output the multichannel image on 9 or 16 windows with the lowered permission to each segment.

For setup of cameras and administration of the video system this 16-channel device is completed with software of NVR Manager which also allows to manage several video recorders united in network, provides remote access to configuring of the equipment, watching video and other functions. Thanks to existence of the built-in Web server, 16-channel authorized users can get access on network to the video recorder through the web browser. For watching video from mobile devices the video recorder supports the special client applications softwares NVR Manager for platforms iOS and OS Android.

Other advantage of STNR-1641 is that along with gigabit port for connection to an Ethernet network, it has 8 ports on 100 Mbit for direct connection of IP cameras on Peer to Peer technology without external use of Ethernet of the switch. At the same time the video recorder 16-channel allows to perform configuring of the cameras connected by the P2P method through the network menu, and using built-in 4-port the SWARM the 72 W switch, the video recorder provides power supply on cameras on the Ethernet-channel.
