The Galaktika Corporation implemented the Galaktika of RUZ system in "SAFU"

On November 12, 2014 at the Northern (Arctic) federal university (SAFU, Arkhangelsk) the system of Galaktika Corporation Galaktika "Schedule of studies" is implemented.

Choosing a Solution

In 2013 before specialists of SAFU there was a difficult task – to select the solution for automation of drawing up the schedule of studies which would be suitable for large university with complex structure. Having analyzed several systems, specialists of the university paid the main attention to the Galaktika system "The schedule of studies" (Galaktika of RUZ).

Project Progress

For more detailed studying of the software product in 2014 they participated in a series of webinars on RUZ, examined experience of colleagues then a system was transferred to the university to applicability assessment. Technical specialists of SAFU with consulting and methodical support of Expert center carried out installation of a system, loading of test data and implemented a control example. At the same time training of a pilot user group was provided. Based on test operation the decision on the beginning of a full-fledged implementation project which will be mainly executed by forces of specialists of university was made. In October, 2014 the agreement is signed and delivery of a packet of licenses softwares is executed. Implementation specialists are faced by several tasks:

• data loading from a management system for educational process of TANDEM;
• drawing up on the basis of these data of the schedule of studies using the Galaktika system "The schedule of studies";
• the publication of the schedule on information resources of the university.
