The Russian representative office of BRF upgrades a corporate system of SAP

On November 17, 2014 the ALPE consulting company announced the beginning of an implementation project of SAP in the Russian branch of BRF company (Brasil Foods).

Project Tasks

Worldwide the BRF company (Brasil Foods) works with the system of SAP. BRF is going to develop business of retail in Russia what the solution to keep in SAP account of all business operations in Russia is connected with. In the Russian division of BRF the local system of SAP is installed, however, for November 17, 2014 in it only financial transactions which are undergone afterwards in the global system of the company are reflected. The ultimate goal of the project – to integrate the Russian branch into the global BRF system.

Project Progress

In plans of partners - to carry out the project in two steps: start of tools in the operating local system, and then integration of the Russian branch into a global system. At the first stage it is necessary to recover complete operability of a local system on functionality of sales, purchases, logistics and finance. The analysis of a system status is for this purpose carried out and necessary changes are defined.

Credit management, all functions of control of material and financial flows, conducting transactions in a system, in real time is implemented. A system is given to a full compliance to requirements of business and the Russian legislation. Consultants should train and prepare also users, to help with the organization of processes of accounting.

The second stage of the project provides a full integration of the Russian branch in a global system SAP BRF. Changes, both in business processes, and in installations of a system – reduction in compliance of charts of accounts will be necessary for simultaneous operation by the principles IFRS and RAS, parameters of management accounting for the correct reporting under rules of corporation, integration of logistic processes, setup of rules of authorization of users.
