NVision Group designed technology network "FGC UES"

Specialists of NVision Group designed a modern technology data network of JSC FGC UES and IT infrastructure of the Moscow office Main Power Networks of the Center.

The uniform technology communication network of power industry ensures stable functioning of information systems and the customized applications used by the enterprises "FGC UES". Objects of power grid economy of the company are located in 75 regions. Total length of lines of FGC UES exceeds 135 thousand kilometers, a system integrates 924 substations and distributors. A half of cumulative energy consumption of Russia is provided at the expense of the electric power transferred on networks of JSC FGC UES.

Experts of NVision Group analyzed requirements of a power complex, estimated development perspectives, developed the project of network taking into account growth of a data transmission traffic in divisions of the company, prepared recommendations about upgrade of IT infrastructure and increase in level of its security. Besides, specialists of the company created the project documentation for reconstruction of communication networks of office of the largest division of FGC UES – "Main Power Networks of the Center". It is responsible for transit of the electric power between the integrated power systems of the Northwest, Middle Volga, the Urals and the South of Russia and also Ukraine and Kazakhstan.
