The WebSoft company works long ago with Bank of Moscow which also the editor of electronic training courses of CourseLab uses the WebTutor system. We asked several questions to Yulia Glebova, the chief specialist of Training center of Bank of Moscow, about experience of use of the WebTutor system in bank.


1. What employee categories use the system of distance learning?


All employees having access to internal corporate network of bank and to the educational portal.


2. How did the company come to a conclusion about need of system implementation of distance learning?


Due to a branched filial system implementation of a remote format of training and testing was required.


3. What business processes are automated using the module "Personel assessment" (for example, annual personel assessment on competences, certification of employees, etc.)?


We use only for assessment of competences. However completions which were carried out in 2013-14 allowed to make the system of more universal and further to use it for assessment and other indicators (only in what the preset rating scale is applied i.e. cannot be, etc. estimated by MVO/KPE). I.e., upon we has the form template containing a field for a set of evaluation criteria (competences/statements, etc.) and columns with the drop-down list of a scale, further a system performs calculation of srednevzeshanny final assessment and appropriates an alphabetic indicator (group into which the employee depending on to what range its average weighted assessment gets gets). At the same time accounting of two indicators at determination of group (at us it is assessment of competences and separately taken out indicator Effectiveness) is possible


4. What business processes are automated using the module Training center (for example, accounting of resident instruction, accounting of training in external training centers, planning and holding all-corporate actions and so forth)?


The organization of passing of distance learning (electronic rates) and testings is automated.

Statistics on external and internal training, passing of electronic rates and tests (the employee of Training center) is kept.

Registration for internal actions (the request for inclusion in the list of participants at the event) is performed, necessary training / testing is appointed, statistics on training in division is traced (The head / other responsibles through "The head's panel").


5. What do you think of consolidation in one system of functions of distance learning, accounting of resident instruction and automation of HR activity (selection and performance appraisal, development of career and so forth)?


Whether existence of functions of automation of HR activity played the role when choosing a product for implementation of a system of distance learning? Approach as it seems to me, correct, however, we so far do not use this "sheaf" in any way. At the moment at us HR processes are not connected within SDO.


6. What technical and organizational difficulties arose in implementation process of the project?

From experience of interaction with WebSoft would like to change a situation regarding the following:

· ownership of the project manager of the consolidated information on Bank of Moscow that there was no need to report it several times and to different people (about systems and servers). One all completions manager who in total knows all history of the relations, the installed equipment and so forth is necessary.

· detailed study of functional requirements and technical specifications. The offer of best practices, the best solutions on the basis of the similar projects executed earlier with other clients. Bigger inclusion in process of creation/study of technical specifications and specification from WebSoft, with orientation to assigned tasks and necessary result.


7. Whether considered return from the project and if yes, that in what it consisted?


Return from the project was not considered. Return corresponds to accomplishment of an assigned task before HR.


8. What command is engaged in maintenance and system maintenance of distance learning?


3 persons (2 HR, 1 IT).


9. Development of rates by own efforts or involvement of providers - what you select and why?


We develop as, and with involvement of providers.


10. How do you estimate efficiency of distance learning?


It could be higher because not all processes are configured and automated.


11. Whether further development of a system of distance learning is planned and if yes, that in what direction?


We plan the maximum use of the available standard functionality of a system. Also completions in a part:

developments of the request for external individual, internal training;

developments of a matrix of purposes of training in the directions of businesses/divisions;

completions of a personal account of the head and the employee on the educational portal;

report settings on training; resource managements of training center on the educational portal;

formations of the directory of training materials.


12. What main advantages of WebTutor for your company can you note?


Flexibility in setup under any task.

13. Whether you detected some shortcomings of WebTutor when implementing the project? Or, maybe, you have wishes to its further development.


All wishes are described above at the description of the course of maintaining projects and results.
