Asian-Pacific Bank will organize reserve DPC

On November 24, 2014 the Schneider Electric company announced start of the first stage of a reserve data processing center of Asian-Pacific Bank (APB). Engineering infrastructure of DPC is created on the basis of modular architecture of APC InfraStruxure.

Project Tasks

"The first data processing center of Asian-Pacific Bank was started in Blagoveshchensk in 2011, - Alexey Belyakov, the director of the department of banking technologies ATB told. - However even during its design we thought of creation of the reserve platform providing not only fault tolerance, but also disaster tolerance. And it is valid, the flood of 2013 delivered work of the only DPC in critical situation. But now we have the solution which will reliably protect bank from natural and technogenic cataclysms. As the supplier we selected Schneider Electric as the equipment of the company was used in our first data center and well proved. Initially the choice of the producer was caused by the good price-quality ratio and an opportunity to receive the complete solution from one company that is convenient in terms of operation".

Project Progress

As a part of engineering structure of 16 racks of NetShelter for installation of the IT equipment, interline InRow conditioners on chill water, the system of protection of power supply Symmetra and a monitoring system of ISX Central with the managing software, a full range of sensors, video surveillance and a control system of the environment. The organization of reservation N+1 is applied. For November 24, 2014 day the power of data center is about 200 kW. In the project the possibility of increase in power up to 1 MW on the existing squares is put.

According to Belyakov's statement the main bank services are redundant using the platform in the city of Belogorsk.
