On November 24, 2014 the Netgear company announced an output to the market of a series of the ProSAFE S3300 Gigabit Stackable Smart Switch smart switches.

Devices of the ProSAFE S3300 series are a basis for the organization of the trusted network expanded according to requests of the growing business. Devices are focused on modern complex projects and updating of the operating networks of customers. According to developers, the new line of devices sets new standards in determination of flexibility and a possibility of the choice for the corporate sector, the educational and other institutions needing reliable technologies.

Within this advanced platform of a corporate class are offered selected 10GBase-T and SPF+ of connection, creates extensive opportunities for expansion of networks both in PoE + configurations of switches, and without PoE support. Products are delivered in several configurations: 24 or 48 gigabit copper ports (twisted pair cable) and 4 selected 10G-ports (two copper 10GBase-T and two fiber optic SFP+).

Switches of S3300 series are delivered with the improved L2 and L2 set + functions using which management of network parameters is facilitated. S3300 series is completely compatible to the existing models of the expanded smart switches of NETGEAR. The new generation of switches provides to corporate customers the solution for creation of 10G-connections between gigabit switches (at the access level) and 10G-switches and routers (at the level of aggregation).
