SAP Connected Logistics on the SAP HANA Cloud Platform platform is the system of assistance to control and traffic control of transport across the territory of the logistic center.
On November 12, 2014 the SAP company presented a new solution of Connected Logistics for Internet of Things (IoT). It provides use of a cloud platform of SAP HANA Cloud Platform for calculations "in memory", predictive analytics, processing of difficult events.
The technological solution will help operators of the logistic center and other employees to monitor movement of transport in the territory of the center. A system facilitates interaction of participants, including - not consisting in direct business relations. Developers plan integration of SAP Connected Logistics with the operating management systems for the movement and also will give a simple opportunity of control of the movement to the logistics providers who did not implement the suitable systems yet.
The solution supports interaction with mobile application of "augmented reality" for warehouse workers. The application involves technologies of wearable devices, such as smart points that saves the worker from need to have at itself the portable scanner.
