"Open Technologies" and NPO Tyazhpromarmatura announced project completion at the Sukhodolsky plant

On November 27, 2014 the company Open Technologies and Ltd NPO Tyazhpromarmatura announce project completion on implementation of the automated control system for safe work of a hydraulic press at the Sukhodolsky plant of special heavy mechanical engineering.

Choosing a Solution

During installation of the biggest in Europe of a hydraulic press at the plant making shutoff valves it became clear that in the delivery there is not enough security system which would control a production zone of a press on presence of personnel and technicians for the purpose of prevention of accidents and emergency situations.

Because the staff of manufacturing company of a press "SCHULER" did not manage to finish the amount of works in the stipulated time, the decision to give development of the system of security of a third party was made. As a result of competitive selection for implementation of this system the company Open Technologies was selected.

Project Progress

The company Open Technologies decided not to recede from approach to which the producer company of a press adhered, and implemented the solution based on the equipment of Siemens company for ensuring the maximum integration with already existing management system.

Within this project specialists of the company Open Technologies performed works on design, delivery, installation and a commissioning of an automated system of security at the Sukhodolsky plant. The delivered system is intended for ensuring safe work of a stamping press of the plant and serves for prevention of accidents and failure of the equipment during a production process. A system controls presence of personnel and technicians in a zone of operation of the unit and provides blocking of its work in case of detection of any foreign presence. BP ACS also performs an operational abnormal stop of work of a press upon the demand of operators or other personnel which made the decision that operation of a press needs to be stopped urgently for prevention of emergency situations or release of defective products.

After end of this project the company Open Technologies signed with Tyazhpromarmatura Ltd the agreement on accomplishment of additional amount of works.
