The hybrid cloud of Inoventica will integrate universities of the country

The head company of the Inoventica "Communications for Innovations" Group and the subordinated Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation Federal Public Autonomous Institution announced research institute of information technologies and telecommunications (FGAU GNII ITT "Informica") in November, 2014 signing of the contract within which Inoventica will provide access to own trunk infrastructure covering five federal districts of the Russian Federation with the guaranteed capacity of each connection of 10 Gbps that will allow to increase data transfer rate and to ensure smooth operation of the largest Russian scientific and educational IP network RUNNet integrating over 400 universities through the whole country^[1].

The federal university computer network of Russia of RUNNet (Russian UNiversity Network) – one of projects of federal scale of FGAU GNII ITT "Informica", is a basis of telecommunication infrastructure of unified educational information environment and provides to educational institutions access to the Russian and world scientific and educational resources of the Internet.

Project implementation became possible thanks to existence of transport infrastructure of Inoventica in five federal districts of the Russian Federation which unlike the Internet is capable to provide compliance to the agreement on service quality (QoS), including reduction of a delay by transfer of packets (round trip delay) to 10 ms, reduction to a minimum of loss of packets, decrease in deviation of a delay (rtdd).

As Inoventica Group ICT infrastructure in addition to transport infrastructure includes geographically distributed platforms of data processing centers in Moscow, Vladimir and Yekaterinburg, the park of the server hardware and storage systems, the implemented agreement will allow to scale in the future quickly ICT infrastructure and to expand cooperation between Inoventica and FGAU GNII ITT "Informica".

"Experiment of the Inoventica group regarding project implementation on creation of "hybrid clouds" for the companies with an extensive network of the offices using a distributed infrastructure among which there is "MTT", Peering, ER-Telecom allowed us to unroll in the shortest possible time the project for Informica, - the Acting CEO, the commercial director of Inoventica Pozdnyakov Pavel says. - We are sure that providing access to trunk infrastructure of Inoventica will be only the first stage of cooperation with Informikaya. Existence of own reserved and scalable ICT infrastructure will allow Inoventica to close not less effectively other needs of the customer".

"Along with increase in data transfer rates the share of the interactive traffic very sensitive to transportation environment parameters grows. Therefore the problem of ensuring quality of service becomes more and more relevant. For this reason as the partner we selected Inoventica company.
