Earlier Concept Group used the different systems on the 1C Platform for accounting and management of retail, however, they were not capable to support growth of business and to the retailer more productive and scalable solution allowing to prepare the reporting in compliance with international standards was required.

The management of Concept Group seriously treated the ERP system choice, comparing characteristics of performance and functionality of different platforms. The flexibility of a system at automation of the difficult business processes characteristic of retail was the main selection term. The selected solution Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 for Retail in a basic configuration is proposed by functionality for the retail companies and also allows to automate easily operating activities of the company taking into account several directions of business Concept Group.

Consolidation and increase in transparency of the processes connected with merchandising and financial accounting for increase in effective management of cash flows in the companies and formations of the broad picture of financial transactions for operational decision making was one of priority tasks for Concept Group at implementation of Microsoft Dynamics AX. A financial part of the project included settlement with suppliers and clients, traffic control of money, formation of the management reporting and treasury. Also within the project with the purpose of centralization of purchases of the company for creation of uniform policy and the standardized processes for all divisions processes of management of the range, purchases, warehouse movements were automated. Due to integration into the FastReact PLM system correct sales forecasts forms in Microsoft Dynamics AX on the basis of the initial data about the range loaded from a PLM system now.

As a result of implementation of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 the uniform logistics on all sales channels was built that allowed the company to continue development within the strategy of omnichannel - thanks to successful integration of the ERP system with Concept Group online stores, the efficiency of the mechanisms connected with online sales of the retailer increased; speed of formation of orders in a system for wholesale clients increased.

2015

March 26, 2015. The CORUS Consulting group announced system implementation of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 in the Concept Group company owning several fashion brands. On the Microsoft Dynamics AX platform all processes of the retailer were automated that allowed to continue fast development of network of branded shops in all Russia.

Existence of several directions of business and brands, active multichannel sales and rapid growth of business made for Concept Group company relevant a question of implementation the ERP system. Now the Concept Group company uses several different solutions 1C for accounting and management of retail. Existing solutions are not capable to support rapid growth of business in the short term therefore company more productive and scalable solution is required. Besides, the system allowing to prepare the reporting under international standards is necessary for the company.

Choosing a Solution

The management of Concept Group stopped the choice on Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 platform on which solutions for retail, distribution and eCommerce are implemented. The main selection terms became a possibility of the platform from Microsoft to support rapid growth of business and difficult processes of the large company and also optimal in this case ownership cost. A system is rather flexible in the development plan, and considering specifics of the different directions of business of Concept Group, the company management when choosing a system considered need of its further modification.

The CORUS Consulting company having experiment on automation of a financial circuit in retail business became the partner of Concept Group in implementation of the ERP system.

Project Progress

Within the project on implementation of Microsoft Dynamics AX processes of management of the range, purchases, warehouse movements, retail and wholesales were automated. A financial part of the project includes settlement with suppliers and clients, traffic control of money, budgeting, formation of the management reporting.

2014

In the fall of 2014 Gumnitsky Stanislav, the Chief information officer of retail network of Concept Club clothes, provided at a conference a detailed case on the project of automation of multichannel merchandising to the companies based on Microsoft Dynamics AX which at the moment is implemented in the company by specialists of Corus Consulting. The speaker told about the course of processes within creation of a collection and planning of its volumes in sales departments, having brought to the course and advantages of automation of multichannel merchandising in Concept Club.
