Blagoveshchensk combined heat and power plant implemented Svitok agrarian and industrial Complex for protection against cybersecurity threats

On November 28, 2014 the MASCOM company completed implementation of a hardware-software complex Roll in Blagoveshchensk combined heat and power plant.

The pilot project provided implementation of hardware modules Roll of EDS using function of formation of the electronic digital signature and also the special software with CryptoPro CSP cryptoprovider. Were determined by project tasks: data protection, ensuring integrity and control of its modification in a video surveillance system behind construction objects of the second queue of Blagoveshchensk combined heat and power plant.

The idea of development of Svitok agrarian and industrial Complex in MASCOM arose because broad informatization of society substantially changed the nature of its activity and created new information threats and calls. Special danger pose threats of information security of automated systems. Svitok agrarian and industrial Complex is created for counteraction to such threats as means of cryptographic protection and intended for the data protection received from remote IP sources.

"Roll" performs cryptographic authentication of terminal IP devices, provides integrity, confidentiality and the legal importance of the transmitted data and also signals about security events, for example, about substitution of an IP source. It is expected that this functionality will allow specialists of the customer to exercise control of objects of Blagoveshchensk combined heat and power plant in real time, having been sure that the obtained information is authentic.
