In December, 2014 the Ministry of Defence announced an exit at full capacity works of National command center as defense of Russia. Department claims that the center will allow to coordinate activity of state agencies in the defense sphere and also to monitor changes of a military-political situation in the world, to receive data on a status of all military formations and material resources in the country. Besides, the center will model different scenarios of development of the situation, having provided planning and decision making by the country leaders in peace and wartime^[1].

"It is deeply integrated management system for Armed forces, some kind of modern Rate of the Supreme Commander. It is our brain" — the Minister of Defence Sergey Shoygu said. At the same time in department note that the center will not duplicate function of the General Staff which is engaged in the routine, advance and long-term planning. Unlike it the center prepares offers directly on events.

The new structure consists of three parts: management systems for strategic nuclear forces, center of fighting management and center of daily management of troops. In the field of attention of the center readiness of troops for the solution of assigned tasks, accomplishment of state defense order, financial and logistics, completing of troops and training, medical and housing support, international and other types of activity.

In particular, the center will watch the processes happening at the plants of defense industry complex, warehouses, objects of military construction, to coordinate their activity. For this purpose on more than 500 objects about 700 video cameras from which image six times a day are analyzed in the center are installed.

Speaking at conference call, the Minister of Defence said that for work on a new object over 500 qualified specialists are trained. In turn, in the press service of department specify that for the corresponding purposes careful selection was organized and training of officers in eight educational institutions Ministry of Defence with the emphasis on mastering modern information and teleswitching technologies is provided.

The calculator does not appear in one of the Russian or international ratings of the most powerful super computers at the moment. Any of the public Russian supercomputer companies of declarations of cooperation with the Ministry of Defence on this direction did not do. Determine by the website of state procurements what held tenders were related to the supercomputer of department, it is not possible.

The center is located in the building of the Ministry of Defence on Frunzenskaya Embankment in Moscow. The decision on its creation was made by Vladimir Putin on May 8, 2013 "for the purpose of improvement of centralized operation by the military organization of the country and its economy at problem solving of the armed protection of the state". Since the end of March so far the center was on experienced alert.
