BI Partner implemented MS MDS in Mary Kay company

On December 04, 2014 BI Partner entering into I-Teco Group announces project completion on creation of a monitoring system of delivery of orders in Mary Kay company. One of key solution components is the module of management of the normative reference information implemented on the Master Data Services MS platform. The created system became one of rounds in development of the corporate "code of data the" (data vault) developed by specialists of BI Partner at the beginning of 2014.

Mary Kay distinguishes high quality of products, individual approach to clients and continuous improvement of business processes. For tracking of delivery dates across all Russia and the analysis of the accumulated statistics it is required to process considerable data arrays, including information on regions of delivery, destination points and conditions of the agreements signed by Mary Kay, Russia with postal services. The solution of this task demanded:

• expansions of the code of data and consolidation in it new objects from the online-system of booking and the system of an inventory control;
• maintaining the additional reference information in the uniform place with a possibility of its editing and providing within the code of the reference books given to "historicity" at change.

Project Progress

Project implementation took about three months. Use as the NSI-platform of the software MS MDS allowed to create without additional development the ready interface for all users working with the reference information. At the level of a product differentiation of access rights to data is already implemented that simplifies system implementation. The created reports displaying KPI values by the delivery services and regions allow to be detailed within a system to the level of the order and to establish the reason of deviations from planned values.
