"Is UPHOLSTERED" upgraded Faeton gas Station network

December 9, 2014 The telecom operator "IS UPHOLSTERED" upgraded^[1] telecommunication infrastructure of network of gas stations "Phaeton" and «Aero» in the territory of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region.

Within the project more than 40 objects located in the extensive territory of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region in a radius of 80 km from the downtown were connected to communication services. The main part of gas station was connected to a data network by the optical fiber cable, and stations in the hardly accessible or remote Areas of Leningrad Region are connected by radio channels of an operator class, steady against noises and bad weather.

Earlier communication services and data transmissions at gas station provided different telecom operators, each of which used the technologies and the equipment. They differed in data transfer rates and service quality. In a project deliverable, executed by IS UPHOLSTERED company, it was succeeded to unify connection of refueling stations to telecommunication services, to increase data transfer rate and time of continuous work and also to put reservation of communication channels in the most responsible points and to implement the round-the-clock monitoring of working capacity and loading of the equipment and channels.

"In addition to improvement of technical characteristics of a data network, we managed to update qualitatively a video surveillance system, to provide start on all subjects of the loyalty program, to increase controllability business and customer service quality", – the IT director of Alexander Syrtsev gas Station network reported.

"We implemented the St. Petersburg's first project on network of gas station when all stations are included in a single network of data transmission by one telecom operator according to uniform standards. Deadlines, a geographically-distributed structure of objects, many kilometers buildings of cable passages, a tough framework for technical characteristics, allow to refer this project to category difficult, and we can be proud of its successful implementation", – the CEO reported Andrey Guk "is UPHOLSTERED".
