The DEPO Computers company implemented the project on installation of the hardware-software DEPO virtualization platform for FGUP Morsviazsputnik. In this DEPO Computers project acted at the same time as integrator and the developer of the server hardware, having presented the complete solution DEPO providing the maximum capacity and compatibility of all components.

The hardware-software DEPO platform is created based on five odnoyunitovy DEPO Storm 3300P1 servers with the installed Fibre Channel controllers, storage systems of SAN DEPO Storage 4260, the software of virtualization of VMware vSphere 4.0 Enterprise and management of VMware vCenter. DEPO Computers has the official status technology partner alliance VMware and the supplier of technologies of virtualization of VMware with the confirmed competences of the authorized consultant.

According to needs of the customer the solution provides high availability of all platform and application information services and also maintains operability of the company in mode 24х7. Besides, it differs in low indicators of energy consumption with a possibility of dynamic shutdown of not used capacities. The platform provides remote condition monitoring of servers at the hardware level and allows to use high-performance processors of the last generation and modules of a large memory. The solution DEPO is constructed using the single system of data storage containing both a high-performance disk set, and disks with high capacity of archive information storage that conforms to additional requirements of the customer.

All active components of the new hardware-software DEPO platform were implemented in failsafe option that guarantees availability of hardware resources in case of an exit of any element out of operation and also allows to execute routine maintenance of the equipment without interruption of IT services. Special attention was paid to implementation of high performance of interaction of RAM and central processors of servers on the maximum capacity of the data bus at high-capacity OZU without decrease in frequency performance.
