Tele2 of the first covered with connection Skolkovo

On November 27, 2018 Tele2 company reported that it provided a covering in the innovation center "Skolkovo". According to the company, communication and the high-speed Internet are available in all territory of the innovation park for November, 2018 over 400 Hectares and more than 500 thousand sq.m of premises.

For November, 2018 the indoor-network of the operator is available to residents of the innovation center in 11 body which total area is half a million square meters. ITs "Skolkovo" became one of the first objects where the operator provided a covering in the first months after start of network in 2015. In process of expansion of the center and emergence of the next objects of Tele2 installed the indoor-equipment at a stage of construction of the body, often providing to other operators the network infrastructure in buildings with difficult architectural features.

Tele2 and the innovation center "Skolkovo" develop joint projects since 2016. In 2016 Skolkovo Foundation and the operator agreed about joint development and carrying out tenders of the innovation projects and other actions in the field of IT and telecommunication technologies. Participation in such projects helped Tele2 to find solutions in the field of Internet of Things, cloud services, a mobile commerce and financial technologies. Besides, Tele2 estimated the projects developed by residents Skolkovo which the company implemented afterwards for automation and increase in efficiency of business processes. Also Tele2 acted as the industrial partner of the Startup Village project of the innovation center "Skolkovo".

The innovation center "Skolkovo" is the major object for development of the Russian science. We it is fine understanding, the high-quality communication and high speed of the mobile Internet is how important for people who are engaged in innovations. Statistics says about it for November, 2018: on one base station in the territory Skolkovo is the share loading twice higher, than of the base station in the center of Moscow. December 11, 2014. The capital branch of JSC "MegaFon" provided a communication fiber line for connection of all territory of Innocentre and provided Internet access, intra-zone and long-distance telephony, communication channels of VPN, P2P and other services.

For a covering a cellular network of all building, MegaFon is going to set the certain indoor-base station which is specially intended for the enclosed space. Further antennas will be installed across all territory Skolkovo.
