Mosvodokanal upgrades a management system for contract activity

On December 15, 2014 the Borlas consulting group announced creation of a management system for contract activity in JSC Mosvodokanal.

Project Tasks

Project tasks - improvement of business processes of management of contract activity of the company by means of standardization and automation. The functionality of a system covers all chain of purchasing activity: annual plans of purchases, requests for acquisition, approvals, holding procurement procedures, biddings, agreements, claims, claims. A system supports processes according to Federal Law No. 223 "About purchases of goods, works, services as separate types of legal persons". Now purchases in the company it is directly performed in a system, daily executed up to 500 electronic approvals.

As it was initially supposed that any employee of Mosvodokanal if necessary can use a system, the task was set: provide convenience of work of end users.

In the market there were no solutions which are completely closing requirements of JSC Mosvodokanal regarding management of contract activity therefore as a basis of a system the software module of Oracle Project Contracts is used. Specialists of Borlas finished interfaces, carried out setup and significantly expanded functionality of the module, implemented support of claim and claim work.

Project Results

As a result of implementation the number of overdue approvals is reduced to zero as terms of performing procedures by participants of approval are controlled automatically. Besides, a system is integrated with the financial and logistic systems of JSC Mosvodokanal that helps to control specifications of purchases, to monitor observance of the approved financial performance.
