MiniCom-DECT-DMC - portable communication system is designed for communication in production.

The MiniCom-DECT-DMC portable communication system is part of the PBX. With its help, mobile communication is free for its subscribers.

The microcell system "MiniCom-DECT-DMC" is focused on information exchange, reducing overhead.

The DECT subscriber access equipment (MiniCOM-DECT-DWLL-200 Basic Radio Unit) and the DECT portable radio equipment are shared in the diagram below.

System Interaction Diagram

The MiniCom-DECT-DMC system creates a radiotelephone communication network, covering the territory of the enterprise. This network consists of several radio zones overlapping each other. The radio zones are formed by base stations for establishing connections with wireless telephones.

The MiniCom-DECT-DMC system automatically determines the area of the subscriber and routes a city or internal call to him. During the conversation, when the subscriber moves around the territory, the system monitors the necessary connections (handover function).

BS coating diagram

When building a distributed communication network based on MiniCom-DECT-DMC, it becomes possible to mobility DECT subscribers throughout the network deployment area (roaming and handover functions).

As part of the MiniCom-DECT-DMC portable communication system:

  • basic equipment: base station controller (BSC) "MiniCom DMC-CS," base stations (BS) "MiniCom DMC-BS," antenna feeder devices, DECT-repeaters "MiniCom - Repeater," thermal cabinets (TS) "MiniCOM DMC-TSh-48," operator workstation (RMO).

  • subscriber equipment: mobile radiotelephones, terminal subscriber radio units (TARB) "MiniCom DT-20," subscriber antennas.

Basic equipment

  • Base Station Controller (BSC)

The MiniCom DMC-CS-1U base station controller is designed to control the portable communication system. Structurally, it is a board that is installed in a standard 19 "case with a height of 1 unit or placed vertically in a 19" cassette, in this case the height is 4 units. The BSC is connected to the PBX via protocols E-DSS1, 2VSK (R1.5), v 5.2.

Over the digital transport network, the BSC can be moved a considerable distance from the station. At the enterprise, the BSC is able to perform the functions of an office PBX. It is possible to build multi-zone systems by combining several BSCs into a single network.

  • Base Station (BS)

The BS provides the creation of radio zones and the exchange of information with mobile tubes. The MiniCom DMC-BS base stations are connected to the controller by a 4-pair cable via the Ye1 interface. Removal of BS from the controller - up to 500 m. Digital transport networks or physical lines are used to carry base stations over long distances. For outdoor installation, the base station is located in a special MiniCom DMC-TSh-48 thermal cabinet, which provides operation in the temperature range from -50 ° C to + 40 ° C.

Each base station allows up to 12 simultaneous conversations, which ensures a high density of subscribers in the coverage area of one base station. The use of different types of antennas optimizes the number of base stations required for reliable communication throughout the enterprise.

Experience in the operation of deployed portable radio communication systems, when several base stations operate in one spatial sector, has shown that ensuring reliable BS synchronization is the most important condition on which the high-quality operation of the entire system largely depends. The developers of "MiniCom-DECT" paid increased attention to this issue. Synchronization is carried out in two ways. The base station can "take" synchronization from either the DECT controller or another "master" base station over a dedicated pair.

  • Operator's workplace

The RME is used to provide operator operation for system configuration, control and diagnostics. It is possible to remotely control the system over an IP network using the RS-232 interface converter with TCP/IP protocol or Dial-Up modem.

The operator can:

  • monitor basic and subscriber equipment;

  • register (write out) subscribers within the system;

  • automatically poll devices in the system;

  • receive alarms in the system;

  • upgrade the system software.

The software registers, saves, sorts the following information:

  • date and time of the conversation;

  • the duration of the conversation;

  • Incoming, outgoing calls

  • load on the base station;

  • load on the entire system as a whole;

  • the state of each base station.

  • Subscriber equipment

  • Mobile radiotelephones

The MiniCom-DECT-DMC portable communication system supports a GAP profile that allows the use of equipment from various manufacturers. Therefore, phones of various brands can be used in the MiniCom-DECT-DMC system.
