Uranium One Holding transfers processes of an output of documents to printing to outsourcing

On December 18, 2014 the Ricoh company announced project implementation on outsourcing of printing for Uranium One Holding company.
Project Tasks
In 2013 the company was engaged in preparation for creation of own office in Moscow. Formation of IT infrastructure was supposed to be performed with the minimum attraction of the investment budget. Therefore the corporate system of printing was decided to be organized by the principle of outsourcing and to contain only at the expense of operating expenses.
The project offered by specialists of Ricoh is selected because of the low cost of prints.
Project Progress
The office of Uranium One Holding company installed productive full-color multi-function printers of A4 and A3 format of Ricoh Aficio MP C2551AD and Ricoh MP C305SPF, monochrome MFPs of A4 format Ricoh Aficio MP 301SPF and also color printers of Ricoh Aficio SP C242DN.
For access control and increase in safety of document flow specialists of Ricoh set the solution Card Authentication Package (CAP) in which the modern technology of reading of cards is applied to access control of users to functions of printing, scanning, copying and the fax.
"The rent for use of the equipment is distributed evenly thanks to what monthly payments do not create serious load of the budget of the company, - Oleg Shalnov, the CIO of Uranium One Holding noted. - Outsourcing allowed us to avoid big purchase costs of the equipment and at the same time to receive the most effective system of corporate printing – with the infrastructure and solutions which are individually picked up for our requirements by specialists of Ricoh".
The project on outsourcing of printing at office Uranium One Holding was implemented through the partner of Ricoh, Tekhnoservice company - it provided a printing equipment in lease and provides service maintenance and technical support of the customer.
Project Results
"Click contract" is concluded for a period of three years, it provides the high level of SLA, guarantees uninterrupted operation of printing:
- time of arrival of the engineer does not exceed 4 hours,
- outages of technology – no more than 4 hours a quarter.
For convenience of maintenance the mini-warehouse of supplies is on site organized. Expenses on printing are most transparent: the monthly service fee depends on the actual quantity of the prints made by the staff of office.
