Infrared buttons of a request for an exit of ST-EX132IR which have the body from stainless steel and the high level of noise immunity and a heat / vlago-protection were a part of the equipment for access restriction to premises of the Smartec trademark in December, 2014. New products work on temperature radiation by hand of the person at distances up to 10 cm and give a signal to the ACS controller for an unblocking of a door electrical lock. Due to contactless technology these buttons of an exit have a time between failures over 1,000,000 cycles and can be used quite intensively. Construction of ST-EX132IR provides them laid on or cut-in installation in walls near an exit door from the premises.

Operation of the button happens after present of a hand of the person to it at distances from 0.1 to 10 cm then it gives the corresponding demand signal on the controller managing a door electrical lock status. For additional convenience of the button of an exit are supplied with the two-color LED indicator displaying their two possible statuses: standby mode (red) and operations of an electrical lock (green). At the same time the green LED of ST-EX132IR lights up when the ACS for some time unblocks the locking mechanism that allows the person initiating a request for an exit to leave the premises.

The button is practical in operation as it uses infrared (IR) technology for contactless control of the lock and has no moving parts, and its body from stainless steel provides high noise immunity and long term of service. Unlike mechanical (contact) devices, contactless buttons of an exit have higher resource which exceeds 1,000,000 cycles of operation. Besides, application for an exit of people of contactless devices is more hygienic, and does not require efforts, and their operation happens almost instantly due to lack of mechanical contact.

Using the new infrared button it is possible to organize a fast exit from the premises equipped with an access control system that is especially demanded on objects with a big chelovekopotok. ST-EX132IR are established in close proximity to a door and have no restrictions under the terms of operation as these buttons of an exit are protected from dust and moisture according to class IP55 and are efficient with rather broad range of temperatures, beginning from -20 °, and finishing +55 °C. A power supply of new Smartec devices for an exit from premises is performed from 12 V of a DC power source, and their energy consumption does not exceed 40 mA.

ST-EX132IR can be set in premises with different design as these Smartec buttons are expected cut-in or laid on installation. In the first case of ST-EX132IR is established in previously prepared deepening, and its decorative plate from stainless steel fastens aflush with a wall. In case cut-in installation is impossible, buttons of an exit are installed by a laid on method for what together with ST-EX132IR it is necessary to use the special adapter which is purchased separately. Irrespective of a mounting mode, these devices of a request for an exit are recommended for the objects which are not requiring identification of the people leaving the premises.
